Description This globe-like projector has sold more than 100,000 sets (old model - Homestar) in Japan since 2005. It was developed in collaboration with Optical Projection Genius Mr.Takayuki Ohira, who created the world's most advanced planetarium projector called the MegaStar Cosmos II. The video clip below is for the Homestar version only. As you can see, the projection is in black and white only. However our Homestar Pro version (newest model) has some major improvements: 1) some stars have colour, 2) more powerful projection, 3) automatic rotation of stars! This unique item projects a high quality image of the night sky: 10,000 stars complete with the Milky Way, a shooting star effect, and it rotates in the same manner as the night sky. As such it is a REAL planetarium, not a toy! An interesting teaching tool in the classroom to kickstart students' passion in Science.
