This page explores the flora and fauna of the small island of Singapore, its surrounding companion islands and the ASEAN region.

It is a common misconception that Singapore is too small to have any interesting wildlife or natural assets. Most Singaporeans are also often left in awe when local newspapers report on certain endangered or rare animal species that can be found in Singapore.

McGill hope to gather interesting pictures with relevant information on plant and animals that dwell in the fast-eroding natural landscape of Singapore and South East Asia, either for posterity’s sake or as a source for nature lovers to admire and be left in awe… …

Kindly feel free to email us some pictures and related information if you’d like your favourite species to be showcased too! They have to be wild and indigenous to Singapore OR ASEAN region. Sorry no pandas or koala bears allowed.
